New mouthwash could boost gum healing after deep cleaning
NCT ID NCT07203872
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a special anti-inflammatory mouthwash to a deep cleaning treatment works better for advanced gum disease. Twenty adults with severe gum disease will receive the deep cleaning and be randomly assigned to use either the active mouthwash or a placebo rinse for six months. Researchers will measure gum healing and collect samples to understand how the combination treatment might improve recovery.
