NCT ID NCT07166224
Summary
This study aims to see if using a special antibacterial light therapy device or an electric toothbrush at home is better than a regular manual toothbrush for improving gum health and quality of life in older adults. It will involve 90 participants aged 60+ who have gum disease and mild memory concerns. Researchers will measure changes in gum bleeding, plaque, bad breath, and how oral health affects daily life over six months.
