Spit and blood test could predict your gum treatment outcome
NCT ID NCT07312045
Summary
This study aims to find simple markers in blood and saliva that can predict how well people with gum disease will heal after standard cleaning treatment. Researchers will observe 180 adults with healthy gums, gingivitis, or serious periodontitis, taking samples before and after treatment. The goal is to help dentists personalize care by identifying patients who may need more intensive treatment early on.
