Chew gum or take a walk? simple tricks may make your colonoscopy prep easier
NCT ID NCT06192394
Summary
This study tested whether simple activities like chewing gum or light walking could improve the quality of bowel preparation before a colonoscopy and make the process more comfortable for patients. Researchers compared 168 adults split into three groups: one chewing gum, one doing walking exercises, and one following standard prep instructions alone. The goal was to see if these easy additions could lead to a cleaner colon for better screening and a more satisfactory experience for patients.
