First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at which material works best to repair bone damage caused by gum disease. Thirty adults with deep gum pockets will receive one of four treatments during surgery: artificial bone with enamel proteins, artificial bone with hyaluronic acid, artificial bone with a blood concentrate, or the blood concentrate alone. Researchers will measure changes in gum attachment and pocket depth over 12 months to see which approach is most effective.
