Scientists launch deep dive into mysterious gulf war sickness

Summary
This study aims to understand why many Gulf War veterans experience chronic symptoms like fatigue, pain, and memory problems. Researchers will compare 85 veterans who have Gulf War Illness with healthy veterans from the same war. Participants will stay at the NIH for two weeks of extensive tests, including scans, exercise tests, and sample collection, to look for biological differences between the groups.
