Summary

This study tests whether a dietary supplement called glutamine can reduce chronic stomach pain, diarrhea, and bloating in veterans with Gulf War Illness. Researchers will give glutamine or a placebo to 80 veterans for 12 weeks and track symptom changes. The goal is to find a safe, effective treatment for a condition with no current specific therapies.
