Summary
This study tested two ways of delivering cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to 46 adults with panic disorder that hadn't improved with standard treatment. One group received traditional in-person therapy, while the other used a self-guided app following the same 8-session plan. Researchers measured anxiety and depression levels before and after treatment to see which approach worked better.
