First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether guided imagery training—mentally practicing shots—can improve shooting accuracy and psychological skills in 32 male football players aged 12 to 14. Half the players did regular training plus guided imagery sessions for 12 weeks, while the other half only did regular training. The main goal was to see if the imagery group made more accurate shots from 10 and 15 meters.
