Summary
This study tested a program called GUIDE, where a trained navigator helps cancer patients overcome social and financial barriers to join clinical trials. 100 adults with cancer who were eligible for a trial and had at least one social need (like trouble with food, housing, or transportation) took part. The goal was to see if this support makes trials more accessible and diverse.
