NCT ID NCT06852612

First seen May 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adults with Glycogen Storage Disease Type I (GSDI) can safely eat foods with natural fruit sugars (fructose and galactose) without harming their health. Currently, patients must avoid these sugars, which limits food choices. The study will measure blood markers like lactate to see if a more relaxed diet is safe. 20 adults with GSDI will participate to help improve quality of life.
