NCT ID NCT07601243

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This early-stage trial tests an oral drug called GS-2426 in people with advanced solid tumors that lack a gene called MTAP. The main goals are to check safety, find the best dose, and see how the body handles the drug. About 174 adults whose cancer has not responded to standard treatments will take part.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

GS-2426 (oral drug)

What this could lead to

If successful, this could lead to a new treatment option for people with advanced solid tumors that have a specific genetic deletion (MTAP).

What could go wrong

This is an early Phase 1 trial focused on safety and dosing, not yet on effectiveness. The drug may not work or could cause side effects. Only people with a specific tumor type (MTAP-deleted) are eligible.
