Daily hormone shots tested to fight knee arthritis pain

NCT ID NCT07036003

Summary

This small, early-stage study is testing whether daily self-injections of a synthetic growth hormone can help people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers want to see if participants can stick to the 6-week injection schedule and if the treatment improves leg strength, walking ability, and daily function. The study will compare the hormone injections against placebo injections in about 34 adults.
