NCT ID NCT00803179

Summary

This small, early-stage study tested whether giving growth hormone could help adults with cystic fibrosis who were underweight. Researchers wanted to see if the hormone would help patients gain weight and muscle, improve their quality of life, and monitor its effects on diabetes and lung function. The study was terminated early and only included five participants.
