Summary
This study is testing if a drug that blocks growth hormone can help people with severe insulin resistance caused by rare fat storage disorders or specific genetic mutations. Twenty-five adults will give themselves daily injections of the drug for one month while researchers measure how their bodies process fat and sugar. The goal is to see if this approach can reduce harmful fat breakdown and improve metabolic health.
