First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated Apr 10, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This early study is testing whether a patient's own concentrated growth factors can help restore movement, sensation, and bodily functions after spinal cord injury. Ten participants will have these growth factors implanted at their injury site along with standard rehabilitation therapy. Researchers will track changes in function over 6-12 months to see if this approach offers benefits beyond current treatments.
