Cheaper group therapy could revolutionize incontinence care for millions of older women
NCT ID NCT02039830
Summary
This study tests whether group pelvic floor muscle training works as well as one-on-one training to reduce urinary incontinence episodes in women aged 60 and older. Researchers enrolled 362 women with stress or mixed incontinence to compare the two approaches. The goal is to find a more affordable and accessible treatment option that could help more women get care.
