Community groups aim to boost HIV prevention for High-Risk workers

NCT ID NCT05929521

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether a group healthcare model can help sex workers in Chicago start and consistently take PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. The program brings together 8-12 participants for regular group visits with healthcare providers for education and support, instead of traditional one-on-one appointments. Researchers want to see if this community-focused approach is practical, acceptable, and helps people stick with their prevention medication.
