Summary

This pilot study explores whether weekly group music therapy sessions can improve emotional health for older adults living in long-term care facilities. Twenty residents aged 65 and older will attend six weekly hour-long sessions and complete questionnaires about their mood and loneliness. The study also tests whether an AI system can accurately recognize emotions from participants' facial expressions during therapy.
