Veterans test group sessions to plan future cancer care
NCT ID NCT06646614
Summary
This study tests whether group education sessions help veterans with cancer plan their future medical care better than standard mailed materials alone. 50 veterans with new cancer diagnoses will either receive mailed information or participate in two group sessions about care planning. Researchers will compare how well each approach helps veterans document their care preferences and feel heard by their medical team.
