Ultrasound may spare vulvar cancer patients from groin surgery

Summary
This study explores whether regular groin ultrasound exams can safely replace surgery to check for cancer spread in women with early-stage vulvar cancer. About 30 women will be randomly assigned to either standard groin lymph node surgery or ultrasound scans every 2 months for a year. The goal is to see if patients are willing to be randomized and if ultrasound is a practical alternative, potentially reducing surgical complications.
