First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at how remembering a loved one affects young adults' heart health. Researchers will test if a self-affirmation exercise (thinking about your values) can help calm the heart during and after recalling a painful loss. 140 grieving adults aged 18+ who lost a family member or friend in the last 2-18 months will participate.
