Summary

This study tested an oral drug called GRI-0621 in 35 adults with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a disease that causes lung scarring and breathing problems. The drug aims to reduce scarring by blocking certain immune cells (NKT1 cells). Participants took either the drug or a placebo daily for 12 weeks. The main goals were to check safety and measure changes in biomarkers related to lung damage.
