Summary

This study tests an investigational drug called efgartigimod in 230 adults with Graves' disease whose thyroid levels are still too high despite taking standard antithyroid drugs. The goal is to see if efgartigimod can help bring thyroid hormones back to normal and allow patients to reduce or stop their current medications. The study lasts between 63 and 135 weeks and includes a placebo-controlled phase followed by an open-label phase where all participants can receive the active drug.
