New device aims to restore hand grasp after spinal cord injury

Summary

This study tests a device called the Networked Neuroprosthesis for the upper extremity (NP-UE) in people with cervical spinal cord injury. The goal is to see if it safely helps improve the ability to pick up, move, and release objects. About 13 participants will be enrolled to measure changes in hand strength and daily task performance.
