Scientists test 'Wonder Material' to build tougher, Longer-Lasting dentures

NCT ID NCT06856239

Summary

This lab study is testing if adding a tiny, super-strong material called graphene to the plastic used for dentures makes them less likely to break. Researchers will create and compare 76 test samples of the regular plastic and the new graphene-reinforced plastic. They will bend the samples until they break to see which material is stronger and more flexible, which could lead to more durable dentures in the future.
