Can a quick chat with your GP ease the shock of a cancer diagnosis?
NCT ID NCT06589414
Summary
This study is testing whether it's practical to schedule a follow-up visit with a patient's regular family doctor soon after they are told they have cancer. It involves 171 adults with solid tumors in France. The main goal is to see how many patients actually attend this extra visit within two weeks of their diagnosis and to understand what helps or prevents it from happening.
