New injection method tested for hard-to-treat gout

Summary

This study is testing whether giving a gout medication called pegloticase as a simple injection under the skin works as well as giving it through an IV drip. Both methods are given along with another medication called methotrexate. The goal is to see which method better controls uric acid levels in adults whose gout is not well managed.
