First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether nurse-led telehealth support helps people with gout stick to their medication and keep uric acid levels under control after leaving a rheumatology clinic. About 200 adults with gout will either get usual care or choose from app reminders, letters, texts, or phone calls from a nurse. The goal is to see if this extra support improves long-term disease control and quality of life.
