NCT ID NCT05996328
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether providing home-delivered meals and extra dietary advice helps older veterans with heart failure stay out of the hospital and feel better. About 1,400 veterans aged 60 and older will be randomly assigned to receive either the meal support plus standard care, or standard care alone. The goal is to see if nutritional support during the high-risk period after discharge improves recovery and quality of life.
