New stent device aims to keep leg arteries open longer

Summary
This study tests whether a new type of stent (GORE VBX) works better than standard metal stents for people with blocked arteries in the pelvis (iliac arteries). About 244 adults with leg pain or tissue loss due to poor blood flow will be randomly assigned to receive either the new stent or a standard one. The main goal is to see which device keeps the artery open longer without needing another procedure.
