New stent graft could fix Life-Threatening aortic tears without major surgery

Summary
This study tests a device called the GORE Ascending Stent Graft to treat serious problems in the upper part of the main artery from the heart, such as aneurysms (bulging), dissections (tears), or ulcers. About 370 people with these conditions will receive the stent graft through a small incision, avoiding open-heart surgery. The goal is to see if the device is safe and works well at one month, checking for complications like rupture, stroke, or kidney failure.
