First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding golimumab (a biologic drug) to standard methotrexate works better than methotrexate alone for people with very early psoriatic arthritis. 84 adults with active disease participated. The main goal was to see if the combination reduced joint swelling and tenderness more effectively after 24 weeks, using both physical exams and whole-body MRI scans.
