Summary
This study is testing an experimental drug called golexanolone in people with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) who struggle with severe fatigue and cognitive problems like brain fog. The trial has two parts: first, a short safety check in 84 adults, then a longer 28-day comparison of two doses against a placebo. The goal is to see if the drug can improve quality of life by reducing tiredness and mental fogginess without serious side effects.
