Summary

This study is testing a new drug called golexanolone to see if it can help people with a liver disease called Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) who suffer from severe fatigue and cognitive problems like brain fog. Researchers will compare two different doses of the drug against a placebo (an inactive substance) to check its safety and see if it improves patients' quality of life, energy levels, and thinking skills. The study is enrolling 84 adults with PBC who are already on stable standard treatment but still struggle with these specific symptoms.
