Gold shots tested to ease arthritic knees

NCT ID NCT07202390

Summary

This study is testing whether injecting tiny gold particles into the knee joint can help people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers want to see if this treatment reduces pain and delays the need for additional treatments like injections or surgery over one year. The trial will compare the gold particle injection against a standard injection in 240 patients to see which works better.
