Doctors test new way to help critically ill kids and their families set goals
NCT ID NCT07128446
Summary
This study aims to develop and test a new method for setting goals with children in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and their families. Researchers will first ask healthcare experts to agree on how to use the method, then test it with a small group of 5 caregivers and their child's therapists. The goal is to see if this family-centered approach is practical and helpful for those caring for critically ill children.
