New ointment tested to heal bedsores faster

Summary
This study aims to see if a new topical ointment called GM-XANTHO can help heal pressure ulcers (bedsores) more effectively than standard care alone. It will involve 58 adult patients with stage 2 or 3 pressure ulcers, including many with diabetes. Participants will apply either the new ointment at one of two strengths or a placebo ointment daily for 28 days to see which helps wounds heal better and faster.
