New supplement aims to tame blood sugar spikes in prediabetes

Summary
This study tests whether a supplement called GlycoDual can lower blood sugar levels and improve how the body uses insulin in people with prediabetes. About 90 adults with slightly high blood sugar will take either GlycoDual or a placebo for 90 days. Researchers will measure changes in fasting and after-meal blood sugar, as well as insulin sensitivity.
