Summary
This study looks at a thin, jelly-like layer inside blood vessels called the glycocalyx in people with coronary heart disease. Researchers will measure its thickness before and after bypass surgery in 35 adults. The goal is to understand how this layer affects blood vessel health and find new markers for heart disease.
