Summary

This study aims to see if taking glycine, a natural amino acid, can improve liver health in people with fatty liver disease (MASLD). It will compare 60 people with the disease taking glycine or a placebo pill for 26 weeks, measuring liver fat and other health markers. The research also includes comparing these patients to 30 healthy people to understand differences in their body chemistry.
