NCT ID NCT07180251

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at how ups and downs in blood sugar (glycemic variability) affect diabetes self-care, blood sugar control, emotional distress, fatigue, and quality of life in 260 adults who have both gastrointestinal cancer and diabetes after surgery. In the first phase, researchers will track these factors and interview participants about their experiences. In the second phase, they will test a program that uses continuous glucose monitoring and education to help patients manage their blood sugar better.
