First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study compares two minimally invasive needle treatments for gluteal tendinosis, a painful tendon condition in the buttock area. About 110 adults who haven't improved with standard care will receive either a traditional needle tenotomy or a newer ultrasound-guided needle tenotomy. The goal is to see which technique better reduces pain and improves daily function.
