New monitor put to the test in Hospital's sickest patients

NCT ID NCT07201155

Summary

This study tested how accurate a wearable glucose monitor is for patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). Researchers compared the monitor's readings to traditional blood tests taken from 55 critically ill patients with high blood sugar. The goal was to see if the monitor could be a reliable tool to help manage blood sugar levels in the hospital.
