NCT ID NCT07234526

First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at whether changes in blood sugar levels before giving antibiotics can help predict how serious sepsis will be and what outcomes patients in the ICU might have. Researchers will monitor 105 adults with sepsis, tracking their glucose levels and a new measure called the Glycemic Shock Index. The goal is to find early warning signs that could improve care for critically ill patients.
