First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study will use a small sensor worn on the arm to track blood sugar levels for 15 days in 36 adults receiving an epidural steroid injection for back or neck pain. Researchers want to see if people with type 2 diabetes have higher or longer-lasting blood sugar increases compared to those without diabetes. Participants will get the injection on day 3 and visit the clinic three times.
