Can blocking a stress hormone stop fat gain from overeating?

NCT ID NCT06556277

Summary

This study aimed to understand if a stress hormone called glucocorticoid influences how much body fat people gain when they overeat. Twenty-three overweight and obese men participated. Researchers tested if temporarily blocking this hormone's natural spike after eating changed body fat or other health measures during a period of controlled overfeeding.
