Scientists test nausea limits with obesity hormone
NCT ID NCT02817659
Summary
This early-stage study aims to understand how much glucagon—a natural hormone—obese adults can tolerate before experiencing significant nausea. Researchers will slowly increase glucagon doses in 20 healthy obese volunteers while monitoring their nausea levels. The goal is to gather basic safety information about glucagon infusion, not to treat obesity or cause weight loss.
