Scientists probe Hormone's role in Diabetes-Related liver trouble
NCT ID NCT07246421
Summary
This study aims to understand how the body's response to a hormone called glucagon differs in people with type 2 diabetes who also have fatty liver disease. Researchers will compare two small groups of participants—those with both conditions and those with just diabetes—using scans, blood tests, and fat biopsies. The goal is to learn more about the underlying biology, not to test a new treatment.
