First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether two common diabetes drugs, GLP-1 and SGLT2, can reduce joint pain and stiffness in people with type 2 diabetes and osteoarthritis. About 390 adults over 50 who have taken one of these drugs for at least a year will be compared to those on standard diabetes care. The goal is to see if these medications improve pain, physical function, and quality of life.
